A DC based law firm is seeking an International Trade Paralegal to join their practice. The role will be responsible for reviewing documents, conducting research, and monitoring docket and filing systems. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring trade data and ITC 484(f) filings for tariff modifications to determine new business leads
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of international trade legislative and policy developments
- Monitoring new petition flings on the Dept. of Commerce ACCESS filing system, identifying potential new clients and contacts, and preparing news releases and proposals for new cases
- Preparing tables and spreadsheets using questionnaire data for AC/CVD and customs filings
- Assisting attorneys with Section 232 tariff exclusion request and customs protest filings
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of International Trade experience within a law firm
- Bachelors degree or a paralegal certification
